Day 1: Arrival in MarrakechĀ ā€“Ā transfer to hotel

2Ā Day 2: Full Day Marrakech Tour

3Ā Day 3: MarrakechĀ ā€“Ā Essaouira

DepartureĀ from Marrakech for theĀ coastalĀ town of Essaouira.Ā An easy walk full ofĀ argan oilĀ co-opsĀ will take you to this UNESCO World HeritageĀ Site. This weather-beatenĀ fishing port, withĀ its wideĀ beaches and ancient medinaĀ wallsĀ built into theĀ cliffs,Ā has long been a popular destination.Ā In aĀ relaxedĀ atmosphere, enterĀ the small but lively medina, stroll along theĀ river banksĀ orĀ beaches,Ā or visit the port to see the dailyĀ catches.Ā The Gnaouas Music Festival is held in Essaouira in June. Overnight in Essaouira.

4Ā Day 4:Ā ESSAOUIRA ā€“ JADIDA ā€“ CASABLANCA ā€“ RABAT

AfterĀ breakfast, head for RabatĀ to continue yourĀ tour ofĀ the AtlanticĀ coast.Ā Pass through El Jadida, a small portĀ townĀ formerly controlled by theĀ Portuguese andĀ now a UNESCO World HeritageĀ Site; thenĀ stop in Casablanca to visitĀ PlazaĀ Mohammed V and the impressive HassanĀ II Mosque.Ā Explore theĀ imperial cityĀ of Rabat, including the MechouarĀ (walls andĀ ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace), the majesticĀ Mausoleum ofĀ MohammedĀ V,Ā the HassanĀ TowerĀ and theĀ KasbahĀ OudayaĀ with breathtaking views ofĀ the Atlantic Ocean andĀ the homeland. at the Gallery ofĀ MoroccanĀ Craftsmanship. NightĀ inĀ aĀ hotel or riad in Rabat.

5Ā Day 5: RabatĀ ā€“Ā TangierĀ ā€“Ā Rif MountainsĀ ā€“Ā Chefchaouen (Blue City)

Depart forĀ Tangier,Ā through the green valleys of the RifĀ Mountains to the charming mountain town of Chefchaouen or Berber chauvinist. Known for its bright blue painted houses,Ā Chefchaouen is popularĀ withĀ tourists and Moroccans,Ā especially duringĀ the hot summer months. Explore Chefchaouen,Ā whereĀ windingĀ alleysĀ and narrow alleys are home toĀ manyĀ souks offeringĀ gourmetĀ cuisine andĀ art,Ā such asĀ woolen goods,Ā intricateĀ embroideryĀ andĀ goatĀ cheese; allĀ fromĀ theĀ North, in You won’t find itĀ anywhere else in Morocco. 6 DAYĀ 6:Ā CHEFCHAOUEN ā€“ VOLUBILIS ā€“ MEKNES ā€“ FES

After breakfastĀ atĀ theĀ riad,Ā ourĀ realĀ journeyĀ begins with aĀ scenic drive fromĀ the heights ofĀ the Rif Mountains through fertile agricultural hills to the Berber RomanĀ ruins ofĀ Volubilis,Ā a museum.Ā VolubilisĀ isn’t quiteĀ as spectacular as theĀ Berber-Roman ruins alongĀ the MediterraneanĀ coast,Ā butĀ it’sĀ stillĀ an easyĀ wayĀ to take inĀ an important part ofĀ Morocco’sĀ history.Ā We’ll headĀ to Meknes,Ā Morocco’sĀ fourthĀ largestĀ imperialĀ cityĀ andĀ aĀ 17th century heritageĀ site,Ā whereĀ we’ll have lunch and stroll around the historic medina wall. After the introduction, we visited the city gate of Mansour and visited the shrine of Moulay Ismail. After visiting Meknes,Ā we willĀ headĀ directly toĀ theĀ cityĀ of FezĀ where you will spend the night.

7Ā Day 7: Full day to explore Fez

AfterĀ breakfast,Ā you will visit theĀ ancientĀ imperial cityĀ of Fez accompanied by aĀ local guide.Ā It isĀ consideredĀ theĀ Mecca of theĀ WestĀ andĀ theĀ Athena ofĀ Africa. ItĀ is theĀ largestĀ cityĀ inĀ the country afterĀ Casablanca,Ā with a population ofĀ aroundĀ 1Ā million. TheĀ cityĀ wasĀ the former capital and one of the four imperialĀ cities of the country.Ā FezĀ consists ofĀ three distinct parts,Ā FezĀ el Bali is the oldestĀ part,Ā surrounded byĀ the Great Wall with overĀ 9000 narrow andĀ allied streets.Ā Fez-Jdid orĀ NewĀ Fes,Ā seatĀ of the Jewish quarterĀ MellahĀ and the VilleĀ Nouvelle,Ā theĀ most recent partĀ of Fez created during the FrenchĀ occupation. FesĀ el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world.Ā Between theĀ narrow streets andĀ theĀ allies,Ā liesĀ the oldest university in theĀ world; Al-Karaouine University,Ā founded inĀ 859 AD. The universityĀ is stillĀ in operation today.

8Ā Day 8:Ā FES ā€“ IFRANE ā€“ AZROU ā€“ MIDELT ā€“ ZIZ VALLEY ā€“ ERFOUD ā€“ RISSANI ā€“ MERZOUGA

AfterĀ breakfast departure from Fez forĀ the Todra Gorges,Ā crossĀ Ifrane to the cedarĀ forestĀ ofĀ Azrou. lie in.Ā It will beĀ a greatĀ opportunity to take photos ofĀ the Moroccan wilderness.Ā Lunch inĀ theĀ small Berber village of Zaida. We continue through the AtlasĀ Mountains,Ā enjoying the landscapes ofĀ Medilt,Ā to theĀ wealthyĀ town ofĀ Erfoud, where we willĀ feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis ofĀ Tafilalet, before continuingĀ to Merzouga.Ā WeĀ will spend the night in a hotel/riad in Merzouga.

9 DAYĀ 9:Ā MERZOUGA ā€“ BERBERĀ FAMILYĀ ā€“ BLACK DESERT ā€“ MERZOUGAĀ (Camel ride and night in the Sahara)

After breakfastĀ atĀ theĀ hotel,Ā we startĀ to exploreĀ theĀ regionĀ visiting the village of Khamlia, originally fromĀ enslaved Sudan. ExperienceĀ music and lifestyle.Ā We canĀ also visit theĀ thread houses of the Berber nomads,Ā where many Berber handicrafts areĀ available at aĀ lowerĀ priceĀ than in the big cities.Ā InĀ theĀ afternoon, under the guidance of an experienced camel driver,Ā you will rideĀ a camelĀ to explore the mysteriousĀ sand seaĀ ofĀ ā€‹ā€‹Erg-Chebi.Ā HereĀ you willĀ spend your first night under theĀ stars or,Ā if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. 10Ā Day 10: MerzougaĀ ā€“Ā IrfurtĀ ā€“Ā TurugĀ ā€“Ā Todra GorgesĀ ā€“Ā Dades Valley.

Wake up earlyĀ in theĀ morning toĀ watchĀ the sunriseĀ atopĀ the SaharaĀ sand dunes, followed byĀ breakfast. After theseĀ wonderfulĀ moments, youĀ return toĀ yourĀ hotel by camel. We headedĀ towards TineghirĀ viaĀ Erfoud and Tinejdad.Ā TakeĀ a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we continueĀ towards theĀ Todra gorges via Tineghir.Ā StopĀ along the wayĀ to takeĀ photos andĀ enjoyĀ theĀ view. Arrive in theĀ TodraĀ Gorge andĀ enjoyĀ stunningĀ viewsĀ of the canyons as you hike. ThenĀ weĀ willĀ drive to BoumalneĀ DadesĀ andĀ stop to admire theĀ panoramic view ofĀ the Dades Valley.

11Ā Day 11: Dades ValleyĀ ā€“Ā OuarzazateĀ ā€“Ā High Atlas MountainsĀ ā€“Ā Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel thisĀ morningĀ we leave forĀ Ouarzazate viaĀ Skoura. StopĀ for a panoramic view of theĀ KasbahĀ ofĀ Taourirt,Ā then stop near theĀ Atlas Cinema Studio to take photos. YouĀ willĀ thenĀ visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou andĀ haveĀ lunchĀ atĀ a local restaurant in theĀ city.Ā In theĀ afternoon,Ā weĀ crossĀ theĀ High AtlasĀ mountainsĀ crossingĀ the TiziĀ N’tichkaĀ pass (2260Ā meters above sea level) to Marrakech.

12Ā Day 12: MarrakechĀ ā€“Ā Airport

TransferĀ from the hotel to theĀ airport to concludeĀ theĀ 12-day circuit departingĀ from Marrakech.
